How Journalists Survive War at Dar Al Mussawir

Photographers, journalists, and everyone interested are invited to an open discussion with Lebanese journalist Salim Yassine and the Spanish photo-journalist Alfonso Moral. They will share their experiences working in risky and war-torn areas.

Salim Yassine was a journalist in Agence France Press (AFP) for over 30 years starting in 1980. He worked in the field covering stories from all over the Middle East, North Africa and Europe including hot-areas in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Sudan, Albania, Bosnia and others.

Alfonso Moral started working with the Spanish newspaper “El Norte de Castilla”. He recently moved to Syria and began focusing on the Middle East countries. Moral has covered wars in Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Palestine, and Afghanistan.
