Marc Brenken studied at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. He has composed several well-known pieces which gave him the opportunity to win the first prize in jazz from Ruhr in 2011 (Erster Jazzpreis Ruhr) with his quartet and performed in several countries like Norway, Spain, Romania, the Netherlands, Mongolia and Lebanon.
Alex Morsey also studied in Essen. He is a member of BuJazzo. He is a very talented and creative musician and has performed with well-known musicians such as Clark Terry, Herb Geller, Ack van Rooyen, Ferdinand Povel and Matthias Schriefl. He is also a composer-arranger and a singer as well. He has recorded over 30 CDs.
Antoine Duijkers grew up in the Netherlands. He pursued his music studies in Artez Conservatory in Arnhem and lives in Cologne since 2010. He did several projects in the fields of jazz, pop and free improvisation. With his jazz trio Torque, he signed an agreement with Neuklang in 2011 which whom he published his album Forward. He also recorded the album Unegal of Wiedergutmachung quartet, a German-Dutch jazz ensemble.
