Karma Tohme Live at Dany’s

Although Karma has not made a formal career from her singing, music is in many ways at the heart of her occupations. Her eclectic tastes for all kinds of classical, world and jazz music and versatile voice have led her into numerous musical adventures, the latest of which is this minimalist jazz trio setting, with fellows saxophonist Basel Rajoub and double bass player Khaled Omran.

Revisiting swingy standards and moody ballads, the trio presents a hard-core jazz program, spiced up with some funk and R&B touches.
