Magnificient Presence Screening at Metropolis Cinema

As part of the Contemporary Italian Cinema Festival, Metropolis Cinema is hosting a screening of the movie “Magnificient Presence” by Ferzan Özpetek.

Synopsis: Pietro arrives to Rome from Sicily with the aim of becoming an actor. Between one audition and the other, he scrapes a living together working at night in a bakery. He is shy and a loner, and the only company he keeps is his muddle-headed cousin, Maria, who has a rather hectic love life. They share the same flat for a while, although their love-hate relationship soon makes their everyday life unbearable.
