Ever have trouble keeping up with complicated game development workshops and tutorials? Come to AltCity for the chance to attend a hands-on workshop where you’ll have no trouble creating your first ever game.

In this workshop, you’ll work with the trainer to develop a simple 2D platformer. You’ll easily learn how to make a character run, jump, collect things, and complete a Super Mario Bros style level. The workshop will cover the basics of the Unity user interface, as well as how to take advantage of the software’s online resources to find solutions.

This workshop is targeted at people who have never used Unity before, and who haven’t necessarily coded before either. It’s for super beginners who are interested in making their first game but have no idea how or where to start. If that sounds like you, then come on down!

Attendees are required to come two days in Advance on Monday August 10th to verify that they have successfully installed the program on their laptops.
The only requirement is to have Unity installed prior to the meeting.

Cost
$10
