Mont La Salle College

John Baptist de La Salle was the first to set up training centers for teachers, learning schools for delinquents, technical schools, and secondary schools for modern languages, arts and sciences. His work has spread rapidly in France, and after his death throughout the world. In 1900, Jean-Baptiste de La Salle was declared a Saint, and in 1950, because of his life and his writings inspired, he was made the patron saint of all those working in the field of education. John Baptist de La Salle showed how to teach and care for young people, how to deal with missing and frailty with compassion, how to affirm, strengthen and heal.

Today Lasallian schools exist in 80 countries around the world. To make every lesson effective, teachers of EDMLS try to include a variety of teaching and learning methodologies in every lesson in order to reach the above-mentioned objectives.
