Open Mic featuring The Platypus Band at Riwaq

Join them this week in welcoming the Oriental-jazz fusion band, The Platypus.

Four musicians from four walks of life came together from Egypt, Australia, Syria and Lebanon to form the Platypus band. The band members met in Beirut, and experimented with their sounds to finally settle on Oriental-Jazz fusion. With Basil on trumpet, Adham on guitar, Omar on the cajon, and Yva on vocals, Platypus delivers a truly unique take on music.
