Mehernaz is back at Makan with her best Persian menu yet. Two types of kebab, a special vegetarian stew, saffron rice, warming soup, stuffed cabbage and okra stew… This is a sumptuous menu befitting the surroundings at Makan.
Mehernaz’ menu will be paired with an exhibiton of artworks from the ‘Divine Comedy’ series by Lebanese artist Chaza Charafeddine. Chaza’s exhibition is a beautiful investigation of men playing both gender roles, blending modernity with Mughal Islamic art. The ‘Divine Comedy’ limited edition artist book will be launched on Friday 20 November at 18:00, in collaboration with Plan Bey.
