Psy Play at Monnot Theatre

Synopsis: Dr. Flache (Dr Raad in the Lebanese version) is a psychiatrist, but not for long, as he decides to hamper his patients, his house, and his ‘’pseudo-nurse’’. What was he thinking? Did he think he would be forgotten in a flash? It was precisely at this moment that he witnessed a couple entering his cabinet. Seeing him separately, each reveals the other’s problems without hesitating to label the other half as insane. Had he not been stricken by the charms of the young woman, he would not have thought twice about throwing them out.

With a comic background, this play is about an important moment in the life of a couple. After a few years of coexistence, the habits and behavior of the other half become irritating. The trouble is that both characters have, in parallel, the same way of seeing their lover. Their own defects vex them. Being more than a mere questioning of their couple, it is about an introspection they must conduct on themselves.
