Ramadan Colonie

Busy Box are organizing a special workshop program for the whole month of Ramadan that will include the following activities:
– Tuesday 2nd of August: Make your own charity jar out of a decorated bucket and cutout cloth material and start giving back this Ramadan.
– Thursday 4th of August: Paint your own Pitcher with glass paint; learn and apply the technique to make a special Pitcher to keep the water or the juice on the table in a handmade work of art.
– Tuesday 9th of August will be all about gathering a Styrofoam drawing of a mosque puzzle and painting it.
– Thursday 11th, you’ll learn how to make your own “daff” with all the details and in a fun way to keep up with the “tabbal” that will pass by every night. Now you too can wake your family up and call them for the “souhour”!
– Tuesday the 16th, you’ll learn how to make a pop up card Ramadan themed cutout cardboard to send to your loved ones, with your warm wishes.
– Thursday the 18th, you’ll make slippers out of newspapers and covered with plaster bands then color and decorate it with the glitters and the paints that you prefer.
– Tuesday the 23rd, you’ll be making the cannon in shaped plaster bands using the same technique as the slippers.
– Thursday the 25th, you’ll learn how to make a beautiful calligraphic work of art using mosaics on a wood board.
