Reading the Diaries of Others at 98 Weeks

As part of the Home Works 6 platform, the 98 Weeks Project Space will be hosting a midnight reading by Rayyane Tabet called “Reading the Diaries of Others” in an abandoned storefront facing the space.

The event is a reading of a text constructed from the diaries and notes of known figures that use the first person to narrate their quotidian. The reconstructed text becomes a re-appropriation of different “I”s that melt into a singular voice.
