Registration for Qadisha Valley Hike

Byblos & Beyond will celebrate the St. Maroun Holiday by organizing a hiking trip to the Qadisha Valley, one of the worldʹs most incredible sites. The Qadisha Valley has been classified as a World Heritage by the UNESCO. The hike will commence at the upper part of the valley passing by St. Hawqa Monastery. At St. Hawqa, you will probably have the chance to meet and be blessed by the Columbian Hermit who is living in the valley. This hike is considered moderate with expected downhill rocky pathways at the beginning and will follow a footpath and some unpaved agriculture terrain throughout the hike.

Stop en route: Yes, for the breakfast and to buy something to eat for lunch, if needed

What to bring:
Walking shoes, a backpack, water, a light meal (sandwich, dried fruits,..), sunglasses, sunscreen, chapstick, a hat, a wind breaker (K-way) and a fleece jacket.
