Spanish Film Screenings at 98 Weeks

Barcelona-based duo wearQQ (Usué Arrieta and Vicente Vázquez) will present two of their recent film productions, Canedo (2010) and Goitik behera, Behetik gora (2012). The films focus on communal and affective production in specific and ephemeral communities in the Spanish countryside while hyper-aware of the processes and vectors prevalent in filmmaking itself.

The two screenings will be accompanied by texts written together, through a point-counterpoint method, with the curatorial duo Rivet. Technology permitting, the last event will also feature a conversation with the filmmakers and curators.
