Symposium on Ameen Rihani

The symposium is organized on the occasion of the centenary of the publication of the Book of Khalid by Ameen Rihani in 1911, and will include the following presentations:

– The Teachings of Rihani’s ‘Exalted Prophet’ by Dr. Ameen A. Rihani, Notre Dame University, Lebanon.
– Ameen Rihani on Education as a Force for Social Change and a Shield for a Just and Strong Arab State by Dr. Nijmeh Hajjar, University of Sydney, Australia
– Ameen F. Rihani: The Poet-Critic by Dr. Naji Oueijan, Notre Dame University, Lebanon
– Rihani’s Religious Ideology by Dr. Nuwar Diab, Lebanese American University, Lebanon.

The event will be moderated by Dr. Samira Aghacy, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU Beirut.
