The Comics Corner Roundtable at BAF
The Beirut Art Fair presents an exhibition dedicated to the ME.NA.SA. Comics, showcasing over 30 original drawings.
The Comics Corner offers an overview of art spanning from the Maghreb to Asia and the Middle East. It also seeks to unravel how comic creators expose the political, social and economic situations of their native countries through art.
A roundtable discussion will take place with the following artists: Zeina Abirached, Mazen Kerbaj, Jorj Mhaya, Rita Saab Moukarzel, Michèle Standjofski, Nadia Khiari, Mohamed El Sharkawi, Madgi El Shafi, Mohamed Khaled, Amer El Shomali, Gyps, Nie Chongrui and Zhao Golo ou Zong Kai.
The roundtable discussion will be followed by a book signing at 8:30 p.m. with the Comic Artists at the Book Corner.
