‘The Voice – Hiba Tawaji’ at Jounieh International Festival 2015
This festival is aimed at highlighting the uniqueness of Jounieh’s city and its enchanting coastline on the Mediterranean Sea.
Jounieh’s residents and guests are invited to enjoy themselves, and participate in the various cultural and theatrical events (street theaters) that will be held within the welcoming shopping area of the old traditional Lebanese houses. Jounieh Festival is here to make Jounieh a pearl and a tourism center on the Mediterranean Sea.
Hiba Michel Tawaji was born on December 10, 1987, in Achrafieh, Beirut, and grew up in the Elissar, Matn District, Lebanon. Tawaji is a Lebanese singer, actress, and director. She sings in Arabic, English and French. Tawaji interprets different music styles such as Oriental music, pop music, jazz, funk, and opera, as well as being a coloratura soprano with a four octave vocal range.
