Turkish Film Festival at Metropolis Cinema

The Metropolis Association and the Izmir Cinema Association, in partnership with the Turkish Embassy in Lebanon, are hosting the third edition of the Turkish Film Festival in Lebanon. Seven recent films of the Turkish panorama will be screened at Metropolis Empire Sofil.

The festival will open with “Night of Silence”, winner of the 2012 Crystal Bear of the Berlin Film Festival, in the presence of the filmmaker Reis Çelik. Filmmakers Raşit Çelikezer and Pelin Esmer will present “Can” and “Watchtower” respectively, the first, winner of the Special Jury Prize at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, the second was in the official selection of the 2012 Toronto Film Festival.
