The Helem Association invites friends, activists, associations, and supporters to join in solidarity and shed light on all types of violence, discrimination, and exclusion faced by gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals in a supposedly “open” and “cultured” Lebanese community.

Schedule of events:

2:00 pm: Opening speech by the Helem Association
2:15 pm: Dialogue session on violence affecting gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and the reality of women rights in general and lesbian women in specific from a social and legal point of view.
3:15 pm: Honor Sahar Mandour for her bold journalism in support of civil society issues.
3:45 pm: Interactive theater
4:45 pm: Introduction to a new publication: Barra
5:00 pm: Comedy show

During the day, one expo will take place for the civil organizations that cares about human rights and an expo of photos for the artists Samir Khoury & James Morgan.
