Clinical sexologist Dr. Sandrine Atallah’s account was banned earlier today. In the video that resulted in the ban, Dr. Atallah can be seen explaining where the clitoris is on an anatomical model. The video had over 30 million views.
My account was permanently banned from @TiktokArabia for showing a clitoris. This is digital Female Genital Cutting !
Dr. Atallah routinely publishes educational videos that aim to raise awareness about sexuality, pleasure, and sexual health. She has been at the forefront of breaking the stigma around sexual and reproductive health in the Middle East, promoting more conversations about such matters in a bid to normalize it and educate the masses.
Despite her efforts, she has been consistently targeted by faulty community guidelines that do not differentiate between educational content and otherwise.
