Timati is one of the most successful hip-hop artists in Russia and neighboring countries, who managed within the last few years to enter the global music market and to become the leader of the main European charts.<\/p>\n

His first steps on Russian stage the artist made on the project “Star Factory” in 2004 (the Russian equivalent of \u00abAmerican Idol\u00bb), through which he instantly became the idol of millions as a part of the group”Banda”. In 2006, Timati released his first solo album \u00abBlack Star by Timati\u00bb, and also founded his own music label and production center \u00abBlack Star Inc.\u00bb. In 2009 the band released an international featuring by Timati and Snoop Dogg \u00abGroove On\u00bb, which gathered a record number of viewings on all video portals of global network.<\/p>\n

Timati’s second album \u00abThe Boss\u00bb was released in November 2009. On this project Timati worked with such giants of hip-hop world like P. Diddy,Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Mario Winans, Busta Rhymes and producer Scott Storch.<\/p>\n

In 2010 the artist reached world musical Olympus. Timati\u2019s second album \u00abThe Boss\u00bb was named best album of the year according to one of the top sites \u00abInDaRnB\u00bb and the annual prize of the First Musical Channel of the country “Muz-TV 2010”. In addition, channel Muz-TV named Timati best hip-hop project of the year and awarded him a plate for the video-clip \u00abLove You\u00bb. Plate for “Best Video” in 2011 also went to Timati (\u00abI’m on You\u00bb feat. P. Diddy).<\/p>\n

Timati is the only Russian artist who is popular around the world: according to European media the track Welcome to St Tropez by TIMATI (DJ Antoine version) became an absolute leader of the rotations in main EU countries. 38,913,895 views on Youtube, first place in the European charts in France Dance Charte, Top German Dj Chart and Swedish Buzz Chard. Welcome to St Tropez by TIMATI (DJ Antoine version) is one of the ten rotating tracks in Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Holland and Poland. The track took 11 place in the list of leaders of I-Tunes Top Singles Germany, that is ahead of Lady Gaga.
