Khaled Yassine is a self-taught percussionist who took his playing to an international level.<\/p>\n

Khaled Yassine has performed and recorded with local and international artists such as Al Dimeola, Warda, Rene Mclean, Erik Trufaz, Bojan Z, Charbel Rouhana, Arthur Satyan, Oumeima, Soumayya Baalbaki, Ghazi Abdel Baki, Ilham el Madfai..<\/p>\n

He is now touring with Anouar Brahem for the album \u201cThe Astounding Eyes of Rita\u201d recorded on ECM records. Since 2003, he\u2019s a member and cofounder of the Lebanese fusion band: Fun Jan Shai, their debut album \u201cbeyond Traditions\u201d was released in June 2006 in collaboration with the Lebanese oud player and composer Ziad Al-Ahmadieh, in 2007 they collaborated with the Jordanian singer Macadi Nahhass on her second album \u201ckhilkhal\u201d. Also, as a modern percussionist, he was known for performing in many contemporary dance-theatre and flamenco performances around the world.<\/p>\n

He is the musical director and producer on the productions of the Lebanese Contemporary dancer Khouloud Yassine. Recently he is the artistic director\/producer of the Beirut based label \u201cedict records\u201d .<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
