Following the public debate which took place at Al Madina Theater, the mayor of the Beirut Municipality requested answers and propositions that can ensure the best practices to open Horsh Beirut.<\/p>\n

Everyone is eager to follow up on this effort and see it through to the end, therefore, an open brainstorming session to come up with a plan on how to open Horsh Beirut, manage it well, and keep it clean and secure will be taking place. If the ideas suggested work, they could then be applied to other open spaces and public parks in Beirut.<\/p>\n

By the end of the meeting, a committee will be formed to actively follow up with (and assist) the head of the municipality to unite on the efforts to open Horsh Beirut as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

This is the time to make your ideas heard! Let’s make Horsh Beirut your park, the park of the people.<\/p>\n
