Antoine Khalife is \u00ab Special advisor \u00bb to the Cairo-based broadcasting corporation ART, and he is currently working as associate producer on many films such as \u00ab Where do we go now \u00bb by Nadine Labaki, \u00ab Upside Down \u00bb by Ahmad Ghossein and \u00ab Housekeeping \u00bb by Mazen Khaled, a co-production with Lebanon, Egypt and France.<\/p>\n
In addition to his work with ART, Antoine contributes to the success of the Dubai Film Festival and the Dubai Film Connection, which is a feature and documentary co-production market, launched in 2007. It aims to raise the visibility of Arab filmmakers and to support and stimulate the growth of film production in the Middle East. He is now the manager of international relations at this festival.<\/p>\n
Antoine is also an advisor to many festivals, such as Beirut Cinema Days, Spring of Beirut, as well as the International Film Festival Rotterdam in Holland, and the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.<\/p>\n
Antoine is the former Head of Festivals and Films at Unifrance, the organization for promoting French films throughout the world. He was in charge of the participation of European and Arab films at International film festivals (Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Venice, Rotterdam, Cairo, Dubai, etc.), and he was responsible for programming at numerous festivals organized by Unifrance (New York, Moscow, Budapest, Tokyo, Shanghai, etc.).<\/p>\n
He has been involved in many film projects, bringing together Arab filmmakers with Arab and European production companies (\u00ab Caramel \u00bb by Nadine Labaki, \u00ab Falafel \u00bb by Michel Kammoun, \u00ab Amreeka \u00bb by Cherien Deabis, \u00ab Yakoubian Bulding \u00bb by Marwan Hamed, \u00ab Civilis\u00e9es \u00bb and \u00ab Le Cerf Volant \u00bb by Randa Chahal, etc.)<\/p>\n
