The Passive Standouts are an independent rock group formed in 2007 by Ian Masry and Rami Charara, who were later joined by Karl Soued near the end of 2007. The group recently won the 2011 Global Battle of the Bands in Lebanon and are going on to represent Lebanon in the world finale in December 2012. The band is currently working on their debut album and spreading their distorted brand of indie rock in numerous concerts and festivals around Beirut. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
