On the 23rd of this month, the Cervantes Institute will be celebrating the 4th anniversary of the “Spanish Language Day”, an international event taking place in all of the Institute’s centers across the world.<\/p>\n

In honor of Chilean poet Nikanor Barra, winner of the Cervantes 2011 award, and in conjunction with the institute’s ever-present goal of connecting with literature savvy people, a schedule of interactive events will be taking place to celebrate the day, including a poetry contest in which the winning entries will be sent to other centers across the world for an international exchange celebrating Spanish language and literature.<\/p>\n
