You are invited to a playful one day workshop with Alper Akcay. During the workshop, Akcay will be opening up the knowledge from meditative and creative movement, intuitive massage and aspects of dance, which comes from a free way of expressing emotions. The use of all the aspect of this field, will allow the participants to discover and experience the therapeutic aspects of the work.<\/p>\n
The use of traditional or methodological movement exercises, that focus on awakening and improving the ability of the body, will smoothly transform into a dance improvisation that are based on a metaphorical expressions. While having this non verbal communication expressed through stillness or authentic movements and witnessing, you will observe the feedback that your body gives to rhythm and music. You will remember that you can use our body as a playground.<\/p>\n
One of the aims of this work is to build a bridge between sensations of the body, movement, imagination, emotion and metaphorical meanings. In this way of playing together; harmony, empathy or synchronicity will be experienced and simultaneously interacted though the body-mind layers in between the participants.<\/p>\n
