Join Lebanese Adventure as it organizes a hiking trip in the Chouf. You will be discovering a new trail in the Chouf biosphere reserve. A beautiful hike from Moukhtara to Haret Jandal awaits, on a former mule track with a scenic view through different landscapes.<\/p>\n

You will be walking along the Barouk river, under the imposing cliff of Amatour, crossing two wooden bridges, and crossing both Ottoman and Mamluk bridges. The difficulty of this track lies in the fact that from a certain point, there is no possibility to come out through the cliffs and some technical passages will be quite demanding.<\/p>\n

What to bring: walking shoes, back pack, water, light meal (sandwich, dried fruits), sunglasses, sun screen, lipstick, hat, wind breaker (K-way).<\/p>\n

Participation fee:<\/b> $25 covering guides, transportation, insurance.<\/p>\n

The meeting for the hike is at 7:30 a.m. at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacr\u00e9 C\u0153ur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, turn right towards Pain d’Or. The oarking is the first one on you left.<\/p>\n
