As part of the Beirut Design Week 2013, AltCity will be hosting a workshop by Brofessional Review called “Break the Rules”. <\/p>\n
Guerrilla Marketing is an advertising strategy that focuses on low-cost unconventional marketing tactics that yield maximum results. This alternative advertising style relies heavily on unconventional tools, high energy and imagination. <\/p>\n
The workshop will highlight alternative advertising means and work with the participants on developing a persona representing the next apolitical President of Lebanon. Participants will be divided into groups, benefiting from each members skills to produce the campaign promoting the hypothetical president at any area in Beirut. <\/p>\n
The process will be documented to ensure mediation, and outcomes will rely on the participants\u2019 fun, creative and shocking ideas. Objective: Introducing alternative advertising tools such as Guerilla marketing. Applying each member\u2019s skills in a fun, collaborative and free atmosphere.<\/p>\n
The workshop presentation and briefing will be given through a projection or via skype, while 4 to 5 helpers will be in the room to manage the workshop and guide the participants.<\/p>\n
