Join Lebanese Adventure as it hosts another exciting trip, this time to Baatara and Douma. The trip will begin near Tannourine el Faouqa with a visit of the impressive Baatara sinkhole, where three natural bridges are superimposed.<\/p>\n

The hike starts with a relatively short uphill climb to the mountaintop overlooking Douma village, where one can then easily reach it, passing by an old church by the name of \u201cMar Nohra\u201d along the way.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, a tasty traditional lunch prepared by one of the village women awaits you, after which, you will visit \u201cBeit el Tourass\u201d and the old souk. While you’re there, you do not want miss out on an opportunity to try the famous \u201cZahlawi\u201d ice cream.<\/p>\n

Participation fee:<\/b> $50 covering guides, transportation and insurance.<\/p>\n

Meeting is at 7:30 a.m, at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacr\u00e9 C\u0153ur Hospital Hazmieh.<\/p>\n
