{"id":31096,"date":"2014-01-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/en\/31096\/ritta-sports"},"modified":"2014-01-27T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T00:00:00","slug":"ritta-sports","status":"publish","type":"directory","link":"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/en\/directory\/ritta-sports\/","title":{"rendered":"Ritta Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"Ritta has had a rich and varied past in the fitness industry, from organizing in the Doha Asian Games in Qatar to hiking, climbing and running all over Lebanon.<br \/>  <br \/>  Since 1993, Ritta has participated and excelled in a variety of sports, from being the Lebanese Taekwon Do champion and representing self-defense instructors in the middle east in news stations such as CNN, to succeeding in many races throughout the Middle East.<br \/>  <br \/>  Ritta is proof of her own methods and training. A variety of activities are pursued, not just gym sessions. Ritta believes in a fitness regime that is stimulating and fun as it is rewarding.<br \/>  <br \/>  Ritta recently starred in the reality TV show \u2018Ton of Cash\u2019, a popular show in the Middle East, where her team was literally given a ton of cash and had to transport it by hand through a variety of obstacle courses and intense challenges.<br \/>  <br \/>  Ritta\u2019s Medals and Achievements:<br \/>  <br \/>  In 2004, Ritta was a Gold Medalist at the Kolossi Half Marathon in Cyprus and a Bronze medalist at the Road Runner\u2019s Association (RRA) 10K in Beirut- Lebanon.<br \/>  <br \/>  In 2006, Ritta was a silver medalist at the RRA Beirut Half Marathon.<br \/>  <br \/>  From 1990 to 1996 Ritta was a member of the Lebanese National Taekwon Do Team where she became a Gold Medalist in the Women Lebanese Championships from 1993 to 1995.<br \/>  <br \/>  In 1993, Ritta was interviewed for \u2018 CNN World Report \u2018 as being the first female Self-Defense Instructor for men in the Middle East.<br \/>  <br \/>  When Ritta got her B\/A in Business Computer, she knew she was not a person to work from behind a desk all day. She left to France straight after her graduation to study Artistic Make up.
