This high-level screenwriting lab is designed to push students to finish their work. This class meets once every week and students will be on a schedule to bring in screenplay pages for intensive and creative-centered feedback. Surround yourself with other serious writers and get the push you need to finish your work.
Led by founder and screenwriter, Nadia Tabbara, students are working on feature-length scripts, a series of shorts or a TV-series.<\/p>\n
Do I have to have a script already?<\/b>
You do not have to have a finished script. However, sample pages need to be sent to info@fadeinbeirut.com for consideration. We are looking for students who are dedicated and committed to finishing their work.<\/p>\n
What do we do in class?<\/b>
Writers bring in pages on a schedule and we read and workshop them using a method of creative feedback. With a mix of lecture and workshop, this class is all about the work of the writers as they gain more tools they need to become better writers.<\/p>\n
How long will it take?<\/b>
Each student is different \u2013 however, a three-month minimum commitment is required in order for students to progress in screenwriting and in their work.<\/p>\n
How many people are in the class?<\/b>
FADE IN: do not accept more than six people in each class to ensure time and proper feedback for each writer.<\/p>\n
