F.C. Gundlach (b. 1926, Hessen) is one of the foremost fashion photographers from the 1950’s and 60’s. His iconic photographs have been seen in magazines such as Vogue, Elle, and others. His vast repertoire documents and provides a keen visual commentary on the evolution and perception of fashion trends, aesthetics, and femininity. The gallery will be exhibiting vintage photographs from the 50’s and 60’s when Gundlach traveled to the Middle East, specifically Lebanon and Egypt. The photos he took during his visit truly capture the “golden age” of these two countries during that time.<\/p>\n
