Coming into the mix under the encouragement and instruction of Dan Bell and Claude Young, Magda began DJing in 1996 working her way through the underground party circuit, via promoters, such as: Syst3m, and joining the all female DJ collective: Women on Wax, it was only a short while before she began appearing regularly at Detroit area events and clubs.<\/p>\n
1999 saw Magda\u2019s initial forays into techno, electro and house evolve. Her DJ sets were becoming increasingly minimal and the records in her box reflected a love of weird, challenging music. Invited by Richie Hawtin to open for him at his millennium celebration: Epok, Magda entered a new phase in her career.<\/p>\n
Currently residing in Berlin, a relative stone\u2019s throw from her home town of Zywiec in Poland considering the nomadic existence of her childhood, Magda seems to have finally found a city that mirrors her own attitude to life – no restrictions and certainly no compromise. It\u2019s a philosophy that also flows through Magda\u2019s music particularly during her after hour sets. The ability to guide her audience through the dark recesses of contemporary minimalism before delivering them back safely into the light means her name is never far from the lips of discerning clubbers and fellow DJs alike.<\/p>\n
