The photographs depict 19th century Lebanon, Palestine, and other parts of Greater Syria in back and white and lithographed landscapes and portraits. The Foundation, established in 2002, opened its collection of around 300,000 photographs to the public through the &#8220;Laboratory of Photography&#8221;. This wide range of photographs gives insight into the development of photography in a local and global context.
