\u201cThis could be your uncle\u2019s kids, your sister’s, your own kids or your friends’\u2026 don\u2019t speed in front of schools and near pedestrian sidewalks.\u201d<\/p>\n

That’s the message road safety NGO Kunhadi wrote on its Facebook page<\/a> after spotting this street sign in Hamra on Jean D’Arc street. Someone added the word “uncle” to the phrase, “Caution: Children.” It’s a fact of life: the more personalized the message, the more people actually care about what you’re trying to say.<\/p>\n

So the next time you think about vandalizing a road sign for pure fun, take a note from this street vigilante, and add something positive.<\/p>\n
