Police uncovered video and photographic evidence of the crimes following a search of his apartment.<\/p>\n<p>  Meanwhile, Dr. Roger Bekhazi, court expert and psychologist, <a href=\"https:\/\/mtv.com.lb\/News\/234529\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">tells MTV news<\/a> that Nader may face as little as five years behind bars because he won&#8217;t face charges for individual crimes committed against each victim. Rather, he will be subject to &#8220;one [charge] for all [the victims].&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>  In an article published on Wednesday, the  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailystar.com.lb\/News\/Lebanon-News\/2013\/Aug-07\/226544-pedophile-shocks-nation-but-most-sex-abuse-is-closer-to-home.ashx#axzz2bCGGnbXC\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Daily Star newspaper<\/i><\/a> raises important questions about the  frequency of these kinds of cases in Lebanon and the infrequency of reporting them: &#8220;only a tiny fraction of victims speak out, let alone open a police investigation,&#8221; Lynn Zarif, a graphic designer who started a blog for victims of sex abuse to share their stories, told the paper.<\/p>\n<p>  \u201cIn most of the cases,&#8221; she says, &#8220;[the abusers] were parents or a relative. They were not strangers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>  The NGO KAFA, which stands for &#8220;Enough Violence and Exploitation,&#8221; published a study in 2008 on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kafa.org.lb\/StudiesPublicationPDF\/PRpdf22.pdf\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">child sexual abuse in Lebanon<\/a>, finding that up to 16.1% of kids in Lebanon are molested yearly, of which 55.8% happen at home.<\/p>\n<p>  This raises the question of whether \u201cThe Beirut beast,\u201d as Nader was described by <a href=\" https:\/\/www.al-akhbar.com\/node\/188352<br \/>  &#8221; target=&#8221;_new&#8221;><i>Al-Akhbar newspaper<\/i><\/a>, should be dealt with as a separate case by lawmakers and awareness campaigns, or if this should be the trigger for a more
