They\u2019re basically just a plate of fries, smothered in tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. The logic is simple: fries are addictive. Pizza is addictive. So pizza fries must be the best thing since cocain\u2014I mean, sliced bread.<br \/>  <br \/>  Put aside the thought. Pizza fries? More like greasy fingers, messy plates, and stained clothing. A glorious thing has been introduced in Lebanon and it has all the best bits of pizza, but with ten times the efficiency.  <br \/>  <br \/>  Let me tell you about Pizza Cups. <br \/>  <br \/>  Lebanon\u2019s newest pizza service first caught my attention when it appeared on my Facebook feed. After a bit of digging, I found that some of Lebanon\u2019s most popular Tweeps have been raving about the bite sized start-up. <br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/28946-1-250x141.png\"><br \/>  <br \/>  I had to try it, so I reached out to the owner, who informed me that I should expect my pizza in four day\u2019s time. Before you think it, it&#8217;s not that bad. When you think about how small the start-up actually is, and how much business they <i>already<\/i> have, I felt lucky to have been penciled in at all. <br \/>  <br \/>  The thing about Pizza Cups is that it isn\u2019t your typical delivery service. It\u2019s a catering service that delivers an assortment of cold, but fully baked, pizzas which you then reheat in your own oven. A little inconvenient, but I&#8217;d honestly rather have pizza fresh out of the oven, rather than a lukewarm bunch of no longer stringy mozzarella. <br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  So, on Monday night at 8:30 pm sharp, my cold boxes of Pizza Cups arrived. I popped them in the oven at 200\u00b0 celsius and paced in my kitchen for a good 30 seconds before realizing impatience probably isn&#8217;t a good idea when the instructions say &#8220;4-5 minutes minimum.&#8221; <br \/>  <br \/>  When they were done, I kind of fell in love. <br \/>  <br \/>  I&#8217;m a Chicago girl. Anyone who knows me can attest to my mad love for anything deep-dish and mini, so staring at a bunch of steaming hot mini deep dish pizzas made my heart skip a beat. <br \/>  <br \/>  There are 12 flavors: margherita, pepperoni, turkey, vegetarian, four cheese, ham and cheese, soujouk, grilled veggie rolls, mexican, chicken pesto, meatball, and spinach. The desserts come in cheesecake, caramel nuts, and Nutella and banana. <br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/28946-2-250x141.png\"><br \/>  <br \/>  My favorite, hands down, was the spinach and caramelized onions. A beautiful ratio of filling to crust to cheese, the little bundle of spinach-y goodness disappeared in seconds. While some of the other Pizza Cups also caught my fancy, most were just okay. Still, I found myself absently reaching for another one long after my plate had finished. <br \/>  <br \/>  Did I mention they were addictive? <br \/>  <br \/>  The dessert cups, on the other hand, were far from satisfying. The cheesecake&#8211;which, in its original form, is my all time favorite dessert&#8211;tasted overly sweet. Nutella has never been my thing, so perhaps I&#8217;m not the best judge of that particular dessert cup. The caramel nuts, though, were positively delicious. Diabetes inducing, yes, but delicious. <br \/>  <br \/>  I think Pizza Cups address two very present questions in a typical person&#8217;s life: &#8220;Which topping should I get?&#8221; and &#8220;What should I serve at my party?&#8221; <br \/>  <br \/>  With Pizza Cups, you can have the best of both worlds. Or 12 worlds, really. And your guests will love you for it, especially because they won&#8217;t be covered in cheese and grease after.
