Trying to convey an interesting idea\/message about a brand in a short period of time is a hit-or-miss type of thing.  But chapeau bas to Lebanon, because in the past couple of years, there have been some pretty great ads that sprouted from our otherwise not-so-great media industry. In fact, it was difficult to pick the best. Ranging from the achingly sad to the heartwarming, and the too-lame-it-almost-didn\u2019t-work-but-thankfully-it-did ads, here are our favorites. Enjoy!<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>1. Bank Tellers \u2013 Gandour Tarboush<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f6Rtd7jRIt0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  This will put an instantaneous smile on your face.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>2. Little Leaders \u2013 An-Nahar Newspaper<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IW3rfqndngM\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  Original <a href=\"https:\/\/stateofmind13.com\/2013\/09\/22\/annahars-80-years-little-leaders-ad-stolen\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">or not<\/a>, <i>An-Nahar<\/i> newspaper did a powerful and creative ad for their 80th anniversary this past year. The video portrays various Lebanese politicians during their childhood and notes that <i>An-Nahar<\/i> has been writing history from the very start. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>3. Spring Account \u2013 Bank Audi<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d5aSRLJ3mj0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  In 50 seconds, this commercial has the power to show you how you\u2019ve been doing it all wrong. It was [perfectly executed and sends out a moving message that makes you want to go biking in the mountains right after you watch it.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>4. \u201cFta7oule Reji3\u201d &#8211; Almaza<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kdF2JG9YvfQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  I, for one, am sick of the whole \u201cyi, come to Lebnen \u2013 we can ski and swim in ze same day\u201d type of ad, but this one minute clip does offer a poignant representation of our little country. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>5. Peace of Mind \u2013 Blom Commercial <\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/69424889?portrait=0\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  Vivid imagery and a concrete idea \u2013 Lebanon, we love you <3.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>6. The Quest \u2013 Warde<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/F0rVmjVI1UQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  Give me some clothes!<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>7. LBC Idents<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/78153960\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe>   <br \/>  <br \/>  In a country ruled by yellow,orange and blue, it&#8217;s easy to overlook the true beauty of color.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>8. \u201cKhalleh el Jaw Wel3an\u201d \u2013 Buzz <\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K8mx3lGYYVg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  Of course, Buzz can\u2019t go a year without one or more of their hilarious ads going viral.<br \/>  This one is our favorite from their most recent because now, every time the light goes off (dijantereh ta2!) we have something to sing.<br \/>  <br \/>  (But a side note: I am super glad the whole \u201cmashewe w l shabeb\u201d phase is over.)<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>9. Stray Bullet \u2013 Cheyef 7alak<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WjYe9qeEsJc\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  In a humorous way, this campaign evokes a powerful message depicting how desensitized the Lebanese have become toward weapons. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>10. The Restaurant \u2013 Fransabank &#038; MasterCard<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>  <br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/42ECHP3rVHA\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  HAHA!<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>11. Daring Mother Day\u2019s Message \u2013 Kunhadi <\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/a7lxyonZvH4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  Although the 2011 Mother\u2019s Day\u2019s ad was much <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zPdt_1ooxOo\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">more powerful<\/a>, this ad has proven to be hauntingly influential just as well. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>12. \u201cA New World\u201d \u2013 Touch<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zUibd2_2CX4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <br \/>  <br \/>  Although this ad came out towards the end of 2012, we couldn\u2019t help but include it in our list! Imagine our entire country, from the shawerma guy to the bourgeoisie jagals, squeezed into one house beneath a catchy, cool soundtrack.
