Here are five conversations almost every Lebanese person has had or encountered. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>The Help<\/b><\/big><\/big> <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/31.media.tumblr.com\/tumblr_mcujg8VlNd1rhn75ko1_500.gif\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tumblr.com\/tagged\/eat-my-shit\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Tumblr<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  How many times have you had dinner guests compliment you on your housekeeper as if you birthed and raised her yourself?  I have heard this ridiculous conversation at many dinner parties and it is almost always accompanied by stories of how well everyone treats their housekeeper. Society ladies are always so shocked that their housekeeper ran away! After all, they did let her call home TWICE this year. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>The Charity<\/b><\/big><\/big> <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/34467.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/uproxx.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Uproxx<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  What is the point of feeding orphans if you can\u2019t go out and brag about it the next night?  It is even better if you manage to Instagram some pictures of your charitable soul. You need to publicize your good deeds as much as possible, otherwise it&#8217;s like they don\u2019t even count. Lebanese people love discussing how selfless they are, from how they cried for hours after seeing that old homeless man on the street to how they hosted hundreds of unprivileged people for dinner. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>The Bomb Survival<\/b><\/big><\/big> <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/34467-1.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dogsanddoubles.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Dogs and Doubles<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  \u201cI was JUST there\u2026\u2026.. last Thursday.\u201d \u201cI had JUST turned that exact corner\u2026\u2026. two years ago.\u201d  For some reason, everyone always seems to have just fled the bomb scene moments before it went off. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>The Refugees<\/b><\/big><\/big> <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/34467-2.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plus961.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Plus961<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  How many cars with Syrian license plates did you see yesterday? Because my mom\u2019s friend saw like 20, you guys.
