There\u2019s something beautiful about it, but .. it\u2019s not always as beautiful as one might think.<\/p>\n<p>  <b>Expectation: <\/b><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.addiction-recovery-expose.com\/images\/bigstock_Meditating_By_The_Sea_1059748.jpg\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">ARE<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>  A holy month. This is my time to meditate, to love, to pray, to be patient. They say one reflects best when they are stripped of their desires and, simply said, this month will be one of contemplation and reflection.<\/p>\n<p>  <b>Reality:<\/b><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img1.wikia.nocookie.net\/__cb20140415212857\/sistersgrimm\/images\/f\/fc\/Food-More-Than-People-GIF.gif\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nocookie.net\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">No Cookie<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>  Rampant hunger fests. Getting angry at my younger brother for playing drums. Bickering over everything small.<br \/>  But I do contemplate. About food. I also reflect quite a lot on the mornings I spent having pancakes with nutella.<br \/>  Does that count?<\/p>\n<p>  <b>Expectation:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>   Five minutes before ftoor, everyone fasting expects to devour the entire table from the sambusek appetizers, to the lentil soup, to the kibbeh and fatouch and finally, finish it up with a strawberry cheesecake.<\/p>\n<p>  <b>Reality:<br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/memegenerator.net\/tier\/god\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Meme Generator<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>   False. Everyone is full by the time they get to the kibbeh but they will not succumb in fear of seeming weak. My family and I are going to wake up, munch on delicious and fresh saj, and have good times.<\/p>\n<p>  <b>Reality: <\/b>I can\u2019t get myself to wake up. Also, why can\u2019t I find any leftover pizza from yesterday? I\u2019m not about to go down the elevator to pick up a sandwich from b2b. Nada.
