Oh so wrong. From the kahrab which goes MIA every couple of hours, to our laws, water (or lack thereof), politics, driving, and general behavior in public, to name just a few. However, we do have a couple of things which we excel at (surprise, surprise). <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>1. Language<\/b><\/big><\/big><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/35580.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/brofessionalreview.com\/tag\/hi-kifak-cava\/ \" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Brofessional Review<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  Beirut is a trilingual city! That is insane. Most people in other parts of the world have trouble enough with just one language, but most Lebanese speak at least three! THREE! English, Arabic, and French \u2013 and that\u2019s not counting the Armenian that\u2019s abundant in some parts of the city. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>2. The Perception of Punctuality<\/b><\/big><\/big><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/35580-1.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AdviceAnimals\/comments\/26ek90\/one_of_my_favorite_things_i_learned_about\/ \" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Reddit<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  Running 10 (more like 20) minutes late for an appointment? Don\u2019t panic, it\u2019s not the end of the world. Lebanese are used to it, and plan our day accordingly. Lunch at two? OK great I\u2019ll see you there at quarter to three.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>3. Delivery Services<\/b><\/big><\/big><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/35580-2.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/beirutspring.com\/blog\/2012\/05\/15\/the-arguileh-as-witness-to-lebanese-life\/ \" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Beirut Spring<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  This is a blessing from the Gods. You can get anything, literally anything, from  medicine to hookahs, a cup of lemonade, and gummi bears delivered at just about any hour of the day or night.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>4. Style<\/b><\/big><\/big><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/35580-3.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/jollyjosi.blogspot.com\/2010\/02\/elie-saab.html \" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Jolly Josi<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  Burn your sweatpants, sweatshirts and anything else that might include the word \u2018sweat\u2019 in it. Girls here (and guys!) have some serious style. They are the queens of fashion forward thinking and it&#8217;s infectious.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>5. Food!<\/b><\/big><\/big><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/35580-4.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maroush.com\/lebanese-food \" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Maroush<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  WE ARE THE LAND OF HUMMOS!<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>6. Hospitality<\/b><\/big><\/big><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/35580-5.png\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/stateofmind13.com\/2012\/02\/19\/lebanese-memes-lebanese-hospitality\/ \" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">State of Mind1 3<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  Although we may get a little hot-tempered, Lebanese are generally very friendly and hospitable. Asking for directions turns into &#8220;come have some Arabic coffee at my house, please, I insist.&#8221; Complete strangers are generally willing to help out with anything you might need.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>7. Outlook on Life<\/b><\/big><\/big><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/14urMYvFxIKEms\/giphy.gif\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/search\/happy \" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Giphy<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  Despite all the political turmoil that plagues the country, the people here are extremely fun-loving and hopeful of the future. They cling to the nostalgic Golden days of glory in hopes of one day restoring their beloved country into its rightful place of peace and co-existence.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>8. Family Values<\/b><\/big><\/big><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/c7CSuvG6apWFi\/giphy.gif\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  (Image via <a href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/gifs\/c7CSuvG6apWFi \" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Giphy<\/a>)<br \/>  <br \/>  Nothing is more important than family in Lebanon, and rightfully so. You won\u2019t find many men and women willing to leave home before marriage (disregarding those who travel for work or school opportunities abroad), and mothers and fathers are infinitely respected and placed on the highest pedestal in one\u2019s life.<br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>9. It\u2019s safe to say, we know how to have some fun. From our notorious nightlife to our delectable food and gorgeous landscape, taking a moment to relax and enjoy everything this country has to offer is a must in Lebanon.    <figure
