Instead of using conventional methods like calling us pretty, and getting to know us over dinner, they&#8217;ll say things like: &#8220;Wow, you look tired; you should put some makeup on. Or: &#8220;habibte, why aren&#8217;t your nails painted?!&#8221;<br \/>  <br \/>  Here are some of the ridiculous ways Lebanese guys miserably fail to charm us.<\/big><br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>1. Singing off key<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/31.media.tumblr.com\/tumblr_m7iw61oUh21rnvwt1.gif\"width=\"100%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  <big>Some fools like to lean on their cheap, pink, beat-up scooter with half a pack of gel in their hair and start singing to women as they walk by. Cool it Romeo, your voice doesn\u2019t even come remotely close to Wassouf\u2019s. <\/big><br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>2. Random phrases in Arabic<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>  <big>If you\u2019re not sure about this one, walk by a construction site just once. You\u2019ll get comments like <i>masha2 Allah<\/i>, <i>smalla<\/i>, or a full-length description of your eyes, hair, and in odd cases, your nose as you hurry off in the opposite direction. <\/big><br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>3. Asking for directions<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>  <big>You know he\u2019s been to Mar Mikhael at least 500 times. Yet, he finds the need to ask you for directions right in front of the flashing neon sign that reads: \u201cWelcome to Mar Mikhael.\u201d<\/big><br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>4. Will you marry me?<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/40812-3-250x175.png\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  (Photo via Gestalt Journal) <br \/>  <br \/>  <big>Woah homeboy, slow your roll. <br \/>  You\u2019d think wearing a fake engagement ring for the sole purpose of not getting hit on would actually scare them away. No luck. Lebanese guys can be quite persistent when it comes to finding girls.<\/big><br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>5. A whole lot of cheese<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>  <big>Don\u2019t be surprised when a guy asks you, \u201cAre those your eyes, or the light of the moon?\u201d<\/big><br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>6. Comparing a woman to an indulgent, delightful dessert<\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>  <big>2ashta, 3asal, Jell-O, the list is endless. <i>\u201cYo Mouhelabiye, fi majel net3araf?\u201d<\/i><\/big><br \/>  <br \/>  <b><big><big>7. Sharing feelings on social media <\/big><\/big><\/b><br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/40812-1-228x250.png\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  <big>At this point they\u2019ve lost all confidence in ever finding a girl using the six fail-proof tactics listed above. They\u2019re getting old and have yet to see more than a woman\u2019s tantalizing cleavage, so they turn to their last resort: social media. I wonder how long it\u2019ll take them to realize that very few girls, if any, respond to a Whatsapp from a complete stranger saying, \u201cI lick you.\u201d <\/big><br \/>      <figure
