Supporters of the \u201cYou Stink\u201d and \u201cBadna N7assib\u201d organizations gathered in the heart of the capital to make their voices heard. Here are 10 things we overheard while going about our patriotic duty:<br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/43740-1-250x141.png\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  1. <b>\u201cOoh they are doing the Dabke, lets go dance with them.\u201d<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  2. \u201cWhy didn\u2019t you come with us to happy hour before, this is like a hundred times more fun when your drunk.\u201d<br \/>  <br \/>  3. <b>\u201dDo you think we can die\u2026I can\u2019t die today I have a massive project due on Monday\u2026like my entire grade is based on it.\u201d<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/43740-3-scaled.png\" width=\u201c100%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  4. \u201cShit, I told you we should have brought the Derbake, look how much fun that guy is having.\u201d<br \/>  <br \/>  5. <b>\u201dMake sure that the tear gas shows in the background I want the picture to really show my revolutionary side.\u201d<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  6. \u201cMake the rocks smaller, we want to hurt the bastards not kill them.\u201d<br \/>  <br \/>  7. <b>\u201dNext time I am getting a surgical mask even if it means not wearing makeup\u2026my tears are making my mascara run.\u201d<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/43740-250x141.png\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  8. \u201cDo you think we can catch the gas canister before it lands\u2026. I want to try that\u201d<br \/>  <br \/>  9. <b>\u201dYou know it\u2019s nice that they used the water cannons\u2026now we have a cool breeze to go with our revolution.\u201d<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  10. \u201cMedic, Medic!! He\u2019s bleeding from his head\u2026he lost so much blood\u2026please help me I don\u2019t want my brother to die.\u201d<br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/43740-2-250x141.png\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  This is not a joke. This is not meant to make light of the thousands of men and women who braved an all-out assault by the riot police while fighting for our rights, it is simply an amusing look at the medley of people who were present. I for one, was happy that for once we have a scene that includes all factions and classes of our society.
