It\u2019s a great place to enjoy a tasty dinner in a laid-back atmosphere, with a perfectly relaxing view of the Halat bay.

So let\u2019s escape the Beirut stress and dive into a list of the yummiest dishes I tried there.<\/big>




1 \u2013 Start with the Shrimp Salad<\/b><\/big><\/big>



I arrived early enough to catch the sunset on the lounge couches and decided to start my meal with this salad. It turned out to be a great choice: the dressing is amazing and light, and the shrimps are tender and juicy. I paired it with a glass of chilled wine. <\/big>


2. Don\u2019t miss the Trio de Tartare<\/b><\/big><\/big>



This threesome turned out to be the perfect appetizer! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and even though I\u2019m not a total fan of tuna, I ate every bite!<\/big>


3. Share the Grilled Octopus with Halloumi and Watermelon Skewers<\/b><\/big><\/big>



I was very surprised about the mix and match of this playful entr\u00e9e, as the food mix is creative and full of flavors. The subtle char-grilled taste of the octopus coupled with creamy halloumi and the sweet and juicy watermelon will make your taste buds rejoice.<\/big>


4. Indulge in the Salmon Gravlax layered with mango slices<\/b><\/big><\/big>



It\u2019s literally an explosion of freshness in your mouth! <\/big>


5. Try the Red Mullet with Ratatouille Cake<\/b><\/big><\/big>



This original and delicate dish is different from anything I\u2019ve ever tried. It was the first time I tasted Red Mullet, and I was positively surprised. Healthy eaters will appreciate it too. <\/big>


6. Star dish: Vodka Shrimps Tagliatelles<\/b><\/big><\/big>



Those 3 ingredients make a great dish! As a pasta lover myself, I couldn\u2019t restrain my delight and enthusiasm every bite of the way.


Some important notes about La Paillotte du Chef:<\/b>

– There are options on the menu for non-seafood eaters
– If you happen to visit before 8 PM, take bug repellent with you because the sea mosquitoes might not spare you in the afternoon<\/big>
