Visit in the morning; that smell is three times as strong with the freshly baked goods just coming out of the oven. Stay focused, we\u2019re here for the croissants! Among these delectable goodies are the croissants: from zaatar (thyme) and cheese to\u00a0almond and\u00a0chocolate,\u00a0together with my personal favourite, plain. Biscuit\u2019s croissants are golden, flaky and buttery, with a soft center; the way they\u2019re supposed to be. This caf\u00e9-restaurant has over 100 years of experience into creating the ultimate perfect croissant: a crisp crust with a delicately layered soft center. Not only for that decadent chocolate bread pudding (featured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/48830\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>, but for their delicious flaky croissants! The croissants are wonderfully rich and buttery. You\u2019re coming for their Chocolate Croissant Knefe, or \u201cCronefe\u201d \u2013 yes it\u2019s a mouthful, and yes, I mean literally. A very delicious mouthful! The \u201cknefe\u201d is topped with a thick and creamy chocolate spread instead of the syrup we call \u201cater\u201d. It suffices to say that you won\u2019t be eating anything else for the rest of the day (and the next).
