Visit at any time of the day and Biscuit will warmly welcome you with that oh-so-delicious bakery smell which completely takes over all your senses. Visit in the morning; that smell is three times as strong with the freshly baked goods just coming out of the oven. Stay focused, we\u2019re here for the croissants! Among these delectable goodies are the croissants: from zaatar (thyme) and cheese to\u00a0almond and\u00a0chocolate,\u00a0together with my personal favourite, plain. Biscuit\u2019s croissants are golden, flaky and buttery, with a soft center; the way they\u2019re supposed to be. They also make mini croissants on request, which I love since I get to have more of those crunchy crumbly edges!<\/big>

Of course, Paul made the \u201cBest Croissants in Lebanon\u201d list, and with good reason! This caf\u00e9-restaurant has over 100 years of experience into creating the ultimate perfect croissant: a crisp crust with a delicately layered soft center. You can get your croissant dose from Paul in their morning formula with a delicious omelet, butter and jam, fresh orange juice and coffee or tea for just under $20!<\/big>

I visited the newly opened La Petite Table for brunch recently and it has definitely landed on my list of favourite breakfast spots. Not only for that decadent chocolate bread pudding (featured here<\/a>, but for their delicious flaky croissants! The croissants are wonderfully rich and buttery. My favourite was undoubtedly the plain version.<\/big>

Just a few minutes\u2019 walk away from Paul Bakery, Le Grenier \u00e0 Pain offers an absolutely delicious almond croissant with such a lovely presentation! The nutty, flaky croissant encloses a luscious sweet cr\u00e8me p\u00e2tissi\u00e8re (custard) filling and is topped with sliced almonds, powdered sugar and more custard.<\/big>

Okay, so technically you\u2019re not coming to Sibon for the croissant itself. You\u2019re coming for their Chocolate Croissant Knefe, or \u201cCronefe\u201d \u2013 yes it\u2019s a mouthful, and yes, I mean literally. A very delicious mouthful! The \u201cknefe\u201d is topped with a thick and creamy chocolate spread instead of the syrup we call \u201cater\u201d. It suffices to say that you won\u2019t be eating anything else for the rest of the day (and the next). Who\u2019s in?<\/big>
