Here are a few of the ridiculous moments we experienced together.<\/big><\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>1. Everyone cool died. <\/b><\/big><\/big><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/50062.png\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <big>RIP Prince, Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Gene Wilder, Anton Yelchin, Muhammad Ali, Alan Rickman, AND George Michael.<\/big><\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>2. Donald Trump is President <\/b><\/big><\/big><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/xTiTnHXbRoaZ1B1Mo8\/giphy.gif\"width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  \u2028<Big>Ya\u2019ll knew this was coming, so let\u2019s just get it out of the way. When a racist, sexist, idiot, misogynist, sexual offender becomes the president elect of one of world\u2019s most powerful countries, you know the world is coming to an end, we hope. <\/big>\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>3. The grandkids who never showed up to papaw\u2019s dinner <\/b><\/big><\/big>\u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/50062-1.png\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Remember when our hearts broke?<\/Big>\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>4. Brexit actually happened <\/b><\/big><\/big><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/50062-2.png\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Remember when we woke up and found out that the United Kingdom had withdrawn from the European Union and the world subsequently lost it?<\/p>\n<p>  <\/big>\u2028\u2028\u2028\u2028<B><Big><big>5. \u201cDamn Daniel\u201d <\/b><\/big><\/big>\u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/50062-3.png\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <Big>I still don\u2019t get what that was all about, but I think we can all agree that it is was annoying AF. <\/Big>\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>6. Garbage crisis continues in Lebanon\u2026shocker. <\/b><\/big><\/big>\u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <Big>It\u2019s becoming a tradition to be honest. Every now and then, the garbage crisis makes a reappearance. <\/Big><br \/>  \u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>7. Killer Clowns <\/b><\/big><\/big>\u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/50062-6.png\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Creepy Killer Clown sightings were being reported extensively in the states, and even made an appearance in Europe. On brand for 2016!<\/Big><\/p>\n<p>  \u2028<br \/>  \u2028<B><Big><big>8. The Mannequin Challenge <\/b><\/big><\/big>\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Why?<\/Big>\u2028\u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>9. Myriam Klink got a vote at the Lebanese Presidential Election <\/b><\/big><\/big>\u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Cringe-worthy.<\/Big><\/p>\n<p>  \u2028\u2028<B><Big><big>10. Dabbing <\/b><\/big><\/big><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/BJsMmrtoJZ3q\/giphy.gif\"width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Can someone please explain this? And can it stop? <\/Big><\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>11. \u2018Dicks out for Harambe\u2019 <\/b><\/big><\/big>\u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/50062-4.png\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Harambe was a Cincinnati Zoo gorilla who was shot dead after a 3-year-old boy climbed into its enclosure. The news took the internet by storm and caused a lot of controversy. People decided to pull their dicks out of their pants as a sign of respect for Harambe. You know, the logical thing to do of course. <\/Big>\u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>12. New bubble wrap will no longer pop! <\/b><\/big><\/big><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/50062-5.png\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Of course, 2016 will come to an end with the most horrendous announcement of all! A new version of bubble wrap will be released, and it does not pop. <\/Big><\/p>\n<p>  <B><Big><big>13. Pok\u00e9mon Go takes over the world.<\/b><\/big><\/big><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.mobilesyrup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/pokemongogif.gif\"width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>  <Big>Remember how annoyingly obsessive people were about this game? We bumped into people staring at their screens countless times, received texts from friends at 3 AM to go catch Pok\u00e9mon, and just never heard the end of it. <\/Big><\/p>\n<p>  Cheers, 2016.
