Hello, goat cheese lovers! Pleased to meet you, I too am a devout fan of this lovely gourmet cheese. When visiting a restaurant, do you usually see a goat cheese appetizer on their menu and automatically announce \u201cI\u2019ll have that\u201d? Even though NO ONE at the table likes goat cheese and you\u2019ll have to eat it all yourself? Congratulations! You\u2019re a true goat cheese aficionado and there\u2019s a special place in heaven for you. I think.

In no particular order, here are our favourite goat cheese dishes in Beirut:<\/big>


1. Goat Cheese Salad at Le Petit Gris<\/a> <\/big><\/big><\/b>

At Le Petit Gris, order the Goat Cheese Salad, or as they put it \u201cSalade de Ch\u00e8vre Chaud\u201d. Goat cheese is generously spread on to three slices of baguette and then toasted in the oven. Once they\u2019re nice and warm, they\u2019re topped with a drizzle of honey and paired with a side salad \u201cgarnish\u201d. I order this delectable dish every time I visit!<\/big>

2. Goat Cheese Salad at Acote<\/a> <\/big><\/big><\/b>

The Goat Cheese Salad at Acote is served crumbled in a tossed salad with toasted nuts, fragrant dried prunes, and a perfectly sweet balsamic dressing. The combination is simply mouthwatering and it\u2019s a dish I will always go back for. That and their heavenly Pain Perdu<\/a>, also known as \u201cLe Pain Retrouv\u00e9\u201d. They have indeed found it.<\/big>

3. Goat Cheese Tart at Casper & Gambini\u2019s<\/a> <\/big><\/big><\/b>

New on the Casper & Gambini\u2019s menu is an absolutely scrumptious Goat Cheese Tart complete with tapenade, pepper marmalade, thyme, and caramelized onions (and of course, garnish). The flavour combination is just perfect, and what\u2019s more perfect is that tart dough \u2013 it melts in your mouth like butter!<\/big>

4. Goat Cheese Salad at Couqley<\/a> <\/big><\/big><\/b>



The Goat Cheese Salad at Couqley is not so much your traditional one. Ordering these fried thin and crispy pockets of goat cheese atop a whole lot of greens is the way to go. Kind of guilty, but not really \ud83d\ude09 For dessert, share a mouthwatering Pain Perdu<\/a>; it\u2019s their specialty!<\/big>

5. Goat Cheese & Mozzarella Salad at The Beazbee<\/a> <\/big><\/big><\/b>

Goat cheese lovers will fall in love with this goat cheese and fresh mozzarella salad at The Beazbee in Hamra. The cheesy mix is kept safe and sound in 2 eggplant capsules over a bed of greens.
