A private lesson is <b>$100 for 90 minutes<\/b>, while you can pay just <b>$60 for a group lesson<\/b>. Alternatively, you can simply rent the equipment starting from <b>$20 per hour<\/b>.<br \/>  <br \/>  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/51514\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Batroun Water Sports<\/a> is another spot where you can try your hand at surfing. With a surf bar at hand, and equipment on rent with packages and instructors ready to help, you can channel your inner mermaid with ease. Rent a surf board for <b>$15 an hour, or $50 for the full day. <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  The <a href=\"https:\/\/beirut.com\/l\/51524\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Board&#8217;n&#8217;Surf<\/a> surf club is located on the idyllic shore of Byblos. You can rent a board for <b>$20 an hour (20,000 L.L. for regulars) <\/b>if you&#8217;re already skilled. If you&#8217;re new to the sport however, you can try a lesson out for <b>$100 for 90 minutes<\/b>, or, as they recommend, <b>$240 for 4.5 hours<\/b> which means you&#8217;ll be able to go out alone into the water by the end of it. Or, if you fancy the kids picking up a new hobby, it costs a mere <b> $50 for 60 minutes<\/b> for children. After that, enjoy their advice and services for free while feelin&#8217; like a real pro&#8230;. although reality may tell you otherwise!<br \/>  <br \/>  <b>2. If you\u2019re a certified diver, you can explore the waters with a fun dive trip for a small <b>$25 dollars<\/b>, whereas if you\u2019ve never tried it before you can enjoy the Discover Scuba Diving program. This includes a guided dive, safety briefing with the instructor, the boat trip and more for <b>$100<\/b> with the option of adding photo or video footage as a souvenir. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>3. Snorkelling<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/51525.png\"><br \/>  Image from sobeirut.com<br \/>  <br \/>  Possibly the cheapest of the lot, since you can buy your own goggles and snorkelling equipment at the <b>average price of $10<\/b> from any sports shop around town. Try the shore of Sour (Tyre), the magical islands off Tripoli including Palm Island and Rabbit Island, or perhaps journey out into Jbeil&#8217;s sea while having a glimpse of what goes on underneath. <br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>4. You can also hire the kayak\u2019s for a guided tour to discover archaeological site visits around the historic area. Make sure you call in advance to secure a kayak! Check out their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/livelovekayak\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram page<\/a>for more. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/17402\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Lebanese Yacht Club<\/a>, Batroun:<\/b> Or, if you\u2019d rather go North, head to Lebanese Yacht Club to hire some kaya\u2019s for $20 an hour. <br \/>  <br \/>  <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/1304\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Sporting Beach Club<\/a>:<\/b> Stay close to home and head to Sporting Club in Beirut where you can hire a kayak for only <b>25,000 L.L.<\/b> <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>5. Jet Skiing<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/51525-1.png\"><br \/>  Image from dailystar.com.lb<br \/>  <br \/>  If you\u2019re looking for a thrill on the water, try riding the waves on a jet ski which can be found at almost any beach resort around Lebanon, or nearby. Prices are roughly similar, starting at <b>50,000 LL<\/b> for 15 minutes and reaching the $50 mark. Pricey, but once you\u2019re bouncing on the waves you\u2019ll realise it\u2019s totally worth it. One option is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/51513\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Dive the Med Club<\/a>, where you can hire a jet ski for $120 an hour. <br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>6. Paddle boarding <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/51525-2.png\"><br \/>  Image from RPNlebanon.com<br \/>  <br \/>  Not as intense as surfing, but just as fun\u2026 given that you know how to balance! Located at the Kempinski Hotel is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/51534\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Board Inc<\/a>, a wakeboarding school that is dedicated to teaching you this niche sport. <b>15 minutes<\/b> on the water which includes training and equipment is <b>$40<\/b> and 10 lessons is <b>$320<\/b> instead of $400, which will have you showing off your best tricks.
