In no particular order, here are our favourite spots for salad bars with variety in Lebanon:

1. Al Mandaloun Caf\u00e9<\/a><\/big><\/big><\/b>

The salad bar at Al Mandaloun Caf\u00e9 offers ingredients such as fresh and canned vegetables, tuna, boiled eggs, cheese, raw nuts, raisins, and pasta as well as a bread station and alternating mezza dishes at your disposal. It\u2019s available starting at 12 PM and on. If you visit their Dbayeh branch, the garden terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy your meal!

2. Batchig<\/a><\/big><\/big><\/b>

Available every day, the \u201cDelights Bar\u201d at Batchig is not technically all salad, but there\u2019s a wide selection of traditional dishes including a few specialty salads. The dishes are all free from dairy, meat, sugar, and wheat with the main focus on healthy whole grains, legumes, and olive oil. The Harak Osba\u2019o (Lentil Stew) are a must try!

3. Urbanista<\/a><\/big><\/big><\/b>



The \u201cFood Bar\u201d at Urbanista features fluctuating ingredients (for constant variety) which are all fresh; except for the tuna, which the restaurant specifies as the only “canned” item at the bar. Make your own salad using feta cheese and watermelon with walnuts or perhaps a chicken salad with lots of lettuce, spinach, and high protein quinoa.

Price:<\/b> 19,500 LBP for one-time refill \/ 24,500 LBP for unlimited refills


4. Casper & Gambini\u2019s<\/a><\/big><\/big><\/b>

At Casper & Gambini\u2019s salad bar display, you\u2019ll find chicken, tuna, boiled eggs, feta cheese, broccoli, edamame, quinoa, all sorts of lettuce varieties, and toppings such as dried fruit, raw nuts, and croutons. There are also Lebanese mezza-based dishes like hummus, eggplant moutabbal, fried cauliflower and other veggies, mashed potato with olive oil, and the traditional mdardarra (Lebanese dish made with lentils and rice). If there\u2019s something you don\u2019t find at the bar that you\u2019d like to add to your salad (i.e. avocado), you can always ask for some on the side!

5. DUO Restaurant<\/a><\/big><\/big><\/b>



Another favourite of ours is the salad bar at DUO Restaurant. A vast spread of fresh high-quality ingredients including grilled chicken, tuna, eggs, cheese, avocado, turkey, roasted potatoes, vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, beetroot, etc.), raw nuts, and much more! There are also light salad dressings available to make your salad even more guilt-free (how strict is your diet?!). As with most restaurants, if there\u2019s something you want and didn\u2019t find on display, then simply ask your waiter.

6. DT<\/a> and So<\/a> <\/big><\/big><\/b>

DT in Downtown Beirut and So in Ashrafieh are both one and the same. They have the same menu so you can visit either one for a tasty salad bar with wide-ranging ingredients!

7. TSC Signature<\/a><\/big><\/big><\/b>



Maybe a supermarket isn\u2019t the fanciest place to have lunch or dinner, but TSC Signature offers a great salad bar with loads of ingredients to choose from. It\u2019s also suitable for take-away!

8. Malolo<\/a><\/big><\/big><\/b>

Malolo is a recently opened Poke Bar in Gemmayze that we felt should be included in this list even though it\u2019s not technically a salad bar! The Hawaiian poke bar offers fresh tuna, salmon, crab, white fish, and boiled shrimp to top your choice of rice, quinoa, or wakame and other add-ons including steamed edamame beans, fresh mango, spring onions, peanuts, and more!

Price:<\/b> Up to 20,000 LBP based on 1 base, 1 protein, 2 toppings, 2 garnish, and 1 sauce; also depends on size of bowl chosen


9. La Petite Table<\/a><\/big><\/big><\/b>

The very reasonably priced salad bar we absolutely LOVE at La Petite Table changes on a daily basis. The variety is remarkable \u2013 you can find colourful pre-mixed salads, dried fruit and nuts, steamed vegetables, pasta, potatoes, chicken with herbs, shrimp, and more. The components change based on the season, so you\u2019ll never get bored with the endless options on display!
