We’d like to express our appreciation for and pride in all their efforts over the past years and until our present day.


1. KAFA<\/a><\/b>



KAFA is a feminist, secular, non-profit civil society organization, which was established in 2005 and has since aimed to eliminate exploitation and violence against women and girls. It seeks to realize substantive gender equality through the adoption of a combination of different approaches.


2. Helem<\/a><\/b>



Ever since it was founded in 2004, Helem\u2019s main goals are to work towards ending discrimination – whether social or institutional – against people with non-normative sexualities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Helem’s other main objective is to counter the AIDS epidemic and other sexually transmitted diseases while advocating for the rights of people living with such viruses.


3. The Lebanese Democratic Women\u2019s Gathering (RDFL)<\/a><\/b>



This NGO was founded in 1976 and is a secular, non-governmental women’s rights organization. RDFL has implemented programs in the fields of education on women’s rights, eliminating violence against women and promoting adult literacy, which aim to promote the empowerment of women in social, economic, and political fields.


4. Lebanon Family Planning Association for Development & Family Empowerment (LFPADE)<\/a><\/b>



LFPADE’s mission is to diminish the gap caused by the limited contribution youth and women in society’s development processes especially in local communities, and to cooperate with public administrations and municipalities in order to enhance efforts to keep up with visions emerging in the areas of population and development.


5. Justice Without Frontiers (JWF)<\/a><\/b>



Founded in 2005, Justice without Frontiers’ role is to develop and promote legal projects that support human rights, as they towards prosecuting violators and supporting victims who have no access to justice, at the national, regional, and international levels.


6. Palestinian Arab Women League<\/a><\/b>



This NGO was founded by Palestinian and Lebanese women in 1950 under extremely difficult social, economic, and humanitarian circumstances for the Palestinian people. The main objective of this league is to foster economic and social development of Palestinian refugees.


7. Marsa Sexual Health Center<\/a><\/b>



Marsa has been operating since 2011, and it provides comprehensive, primary, and secondary healthcare services with a multidisciplinary team. Any woman or man will be provided with medical, social, and psychological consultations in a safe environment with no judgement.


8. Nasawiya<\/a><\/b>



Nasawiya is a group of feminists (women and men) who are working together to challenge all forms of gender oppression in Lebanon and the Arab world. Nasawiya is not only targeted towards women’s rights but also towards all sex-related injustices, and other forms of exploitations and discrimination that go hand in hand with it like sectarianism, homophobia, classicism, and racism.
